There are 3 different COVID tests. The gold standard is a PCR test, which is made by swabbing the throat and nose. This test only shows acute infections and so is required when traveling. Antibody tests are carried out by blood tests in the laboratory (laboratory Koblenz determines IgA IgG) shows acute infection and status after infection (immunity). Rapid antibody test shows IgM IgG - acute and chronic antibodies.
